I know I can eat organic chicken. And I believe that chicken wings are OK, so I wanted to cook some but not fry them. I don’t currently have grill so that option was out and I decided I wanted to bake them. I found a recipe that said to get the crispy chicken wings like you do from a fryer, you should rub them in a mixture with baking powder (not baking soda). Then bake on low (250F) for 30 minutes and then turn up the oven to 425F for another 40 minutes or so. I was thinking to mix a tablespoon of baking powder with 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon of organic garlic powder (I dont have any fresh) and a dash of pepper.
        Would this be OK?

They said that the baking powder (not baking soda) does something to the pH of the chicken skin and makes it all crispy.

Is baking powder allowed while taking the hoxsey tonic?

I read that as long as it is organically processed baking powder that is ok, just watch out for aluminum-use sparingly.

I’ve always used non-aluminum baking powder.  I heard somewhere that baking powder containing cream of tartar isn’t alkaline.  Is this right?
